Bugaboo Stroller Recall
Posted on Apr 03, 2013
Around the same time our personal injury lawyers in Raleigh were informing families about the Peg Perego stroller recall in September 2012, many other families were purchasing the Bugaboo Cameleon 3 Stroller. The Bugaboo strollers sold from September 2012 until just last month in March 2013 are part of a nationwide recall due to the stroller's carrying handle.
The Bugaboo Cameleon 3 Stroller is a popular choice among families who are on-the-go because of the convenient convertible baby seat that turns into a stroller seat and detaches from the stroller as a carrier. The handles have broken from the carrier and create a fall hazard. Over a dozen reports were made regarding broken handles. The Bugaboo Donkey Stroller model is also included in a recall.
Concerned if your stroller is in the Bugaboo recall? Look for serial numbers between 19010 11153 00001 to 19010 51248 00215.The recalled strollers had sold in the high $800s to the mid-$1,000s.
