April is Paralyzed Veterans of America Awareness Month

North Carolina disabled veteransOur veterans disability attorneys help former military members across North Carolina apply for, repeal, and understand the benefits they are legally entitled to. We work on behalf of disabled veterans every month of the year, but April is Paralyzed Veterans of America Awareness Month - a time to draw even more attention to people who served our country and suffered an illness or injury during that service that has compromised their mobility for the rest of their lives.

A few ways you can help spread awareness - share information on social media about paralyzed veterans. Whether it's the story of a family member who served, encourage others to donate to organizations that help retired military members, volunteer with veterans groups, or simply share this post - any way you choose can help.

The veterans disability attorneys in Raleigh with our firm offer complimentary case evaluations year-round. Please don't hesitate to contact an attorney if you are concerned about qualifying for benefits or understanding veterans disability pay rates.

In our efforts to contribute to the awareness campaign, here are three resources for veterans suffering paralyzing injuries:

  1. Veterans Disability Benefits for Brain Injuries
  2. Robotic Legs for Veterans
  3. 3 More Opportunities for Veterans With Spinal Cord Injuries

Do you have a veteran in your family? Let us know their story - share with our attorneys on Facebook and Twitter @brentadamslaw.
