A family traveling in a minivan with their daughter experienced a tragedy as a result of a defective door latch. The minivan manufacturer had built this particular make and model with a defective latch on the rear door, unbeknownst to the family. The defective latch caused the daughter to be ejected from the vehicle and thrown into the street. She suffered fatal head injuries.

The North Carolina accident attorneys at Brent Adams & Associates sued the minivan manufacturer over the defective door latch, and won a $5 million settlement for the girl’s parents.
