Workers Injured While Working on Granville School Site

Three construction workers were injured while working on a Granville County school site on Wednesday.

The three workers, whose names were not released fell 25 to 30 feet off of the scaffold they were working on. It was not determined at the time of the incident whether the scaffold collapsed or the men just fell off.

The school is located on Philo White Road near N.C. Highway 96 in the Wilton community.

The injured workers were transported to Duke University Hospital to be treated.

The State Department of Labor is investigating the case.
