Woman Killed in Crash on S Saunders St in Raleigh, NC

Raleigh, NC (July 22, 2026) – A 31-year-old woman died after a vehicle struck her on South Saunders Street in Raleigh on Tuesday, July 21. The collision occurred around 4:40 a.m. in the 2600 block of South Saunders Street.

Officials say a white Honda Accord traveling northbound struck the woman. Investigators identified her as Tyesha Parker.

Emergency units responded shortly after the crash was reported. Officials confirmed that Parker died from her injuries. The driver remained nearby and showed no signs of impairment during field sobriety tests.

Authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash.
