A personal injury suit was filed on October 17 in Madison County, Illinois Circuit Court by Sarah Jones naming Bush Pest Control and Jarvis Swope, a Bush employee, as defendants. She claims she sustained injuries to her neck, back, and right arm in a rear-end collision.
According to the suit, Jones was westbound shortly before 11:30 a.m. on October 20, 2006 when Swope’s vehicle, which he was operating for Bush, collided with the rear of a vehicle driving behind Jones, which caused it to collide with Jones’ vehicle.
According to Jones, she incurred substantial medical costs because of her injuries in addition to suffering loss of wages, pain, and disability.
Jones alleges negligence on the part of Swope for his failure to keep a proper lookout, decrease his speed to avoid a collision, drive at a reasonable speed, and maintain control of his vehicle. She alleges negligence on the part of Bush Pest Control for employing Swope. She seeks unspecified damages and costs of suit.
