A truck driver suffered personal injuries to his hip in a traffic accident that caused the southeast lanes of Interstate 85 near Club Boulevard to be blocked on the afternoon October 28.
According to police in Durham, the southbound lanes between the exits for Club Boulevard and Roxboro Road and one northbound lane had to be closed after the crash.
At approximately 1:45 p.m., a northbound flatbed truck crossed the median and overturned in the southbound lanes.
According to police, the truck was transporting gray water-based paint, which spilled on the highway.
According to the driver, he was driving north on I-85 and a vehicle pulled in front of him, which caused him to swerve and collide with a guardrail.
