A 14-year-old boy suffered fatal personal injuries on the afternoon of September 27 after an accident involving a school bus in Raleigh.


The teenager was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with a school bus near the intersection of Falls of Neuse Road and Newton road around 4 p.m. Two other teens, aged 15 and 16, suffered injuries in the accident.


Police have not yet made the identities of the teens available.


Outbound lanes on Falls of Neuse remained closed for several hours after the accident.


At the time of the accident, no children were on the school bus.


The accident remains under investigation of the Raleigh police.
