New mandates are moving toward making the Social Security Disability Insurance system a paperless one. Paperless system make it easier to find all your disability claim information in one place, and also allow the Social Security Administration to receive and process your claim faster.
If you have been representing yourself and recently had your claim denied, you have the option to file an Internet Appeal on the SSA website here. - Notice of Decision
- Your name, SS#, phone number and address

You will also need to submit documentation of medical records if there were any changes since your last claim submission. This would include every healthcare visit, new prescription and medical test from the last day of submission to the date of filing an appeal.
