There has been a recall from the Campbell Soup Co. recalling SpaghettiOs with meatballs that might not have been properly processed. This might have potentially allowed bacteria to grow inside the can and cause spoilage.

Coming from the company, one of the cookers in the plant wasn’t working up to standard and it had left the meatball undercooked. Recalled are certain lots of three varieties of the pasta product often consumed by children: Spaghetti-Os with Meatballs, Spaghetti-Os A to Z with Meatballs, and Spaghetti-Os Fun Shapes with Meatballs (Cars).

The recalled products have "EST 4K," as well as a use-by date between June 2010 and December 2011 printed on the bottom of the can. The Spaghetti-Os were manufactured between December 2008 and June 2010 and were distributed to retail establishments nationwide.
