The driver, 69-year-old Joyce Underwood Horton, received hospital transport after the crash. She was pronounced dead the following day.
Two others in the vehicle, a woman in her 70s and a 10-year-old child, received transport to WakeMed in Raleigh for the injuries they suffered. Their names were not immediately made available.
