A woman from Raleigh has been charged with driving while impaired after an October 9 crash in which another Raleigh woman suffered fatal personal injuries.

 

Witnesses say 50-year-old Cheryl Raybon Bailey was crossing the intersection of Rogers Lane and New Hope Road in Raleigh on the night of the accident when another vehicle ran the stop sign.

 

Bailey T-boned the other vehicle, resulting in the driver, 51-year-old Beverly Ann Burton, dying, according to the police report.
