Police are currently investigating a Raleigh traffic accident in which a pedestrian suffered personal injuries after being struck by a vehicle.


The collision occurred at approximately 9 p.m. on October 24 on Hillsborough Street.


According to police, a man jumped in front of the car that struck him. An RDU police officer spotted the man lying in the road not breathing, and performed CPR.


By the time an ambulance transported the man to WakeMed, he was breathing again.


The man’s name and condition have not yet been released. So far, no charges have been filed.
