Police Identify Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Fayetteville Crash
Police have identified the motorcyclist who required air transport to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill after a July 19 crash as 52-year-old Stedman resident Billie Lynn Davis.
According to a supervisor at UNC Hospital, as of July 22, Davis remained in serious condition at the hospital.
Police say that on the day of the incident, Davis suffered the injuries when an SUV driven by 36-year-old Fayetteville resident Derrick Watson suddenly turned into his path.
Police say that after the crash, Watson was charged with DWI and failure to yield right of way.
