A pedestrian suffered personal injuries on March 22 after being hit by a car while walking across Martin Luther King Boulevard in Raleigh.
According to police, Wendell resident Sherie Brooks did not yield the right of way and “ran into oncoming traffic” near the intersection with Grantland Drive. Shirley Broadie was attempting to make a left turn when she struck Brooks.
Brooks received transport to WakeMed with unknown injuries.
