Fayetteville police say that a pedestrian died of the personal injuries he suffered when he was struck by a vehicle early on the morning of July 25 on Sycamore Dairy Road.
Police said that the man, whose identity police have not released, was hit near the McDonald’s restaurant at 3701 Bragg Blvd. shortly after 4 a.m.
Upon their arrival to the scene, officers discovered the man lying in the roadway and medical personnel immediately began life-saving assistance.
According to police, the man received transport to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
As of that same afternoon, police did not have any available information about the driver.
