The North Carolina Highway Patrol reported that on the afternoon of April 8, a woman from Selma suffered fatal personal injuries in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 301 South in Johnston County.
According to the NCHP, 24-year-old Elizibeth Ann Mitchell was northbound on U.S. 301 when a southbound vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with her vehicle.
Two others also suffered injuries in the crash, which occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m.
