Raleigh, NC (August 29, 2026) – A pedestrian died early Saturday, August 29, after being struck at Capital Boulevard and Durant Road in Raleigh. Emergency units attempted life-saving measures at the scene, but the pedestrian died there.

The incident occurred at about 3:33 a.m. The pedestrian was not publicly identified in the initial report.
