NC Passenger Hurt in Plane Crash That Kills Pilot
A North Carolina passenger was seriously injured in a plane crash in Alaska that killed the pilot.
The injured passenger was identified as Robert Goodwill, 44, of North Carolina. Goodwill was flown to an Anchorage hospital.
The pilot was identified as Timothy Hudok, 45, of Anchorage, Alaska. Hudok was piloting a Cessna 150.
According to the Anchorage Daily News, the crash was discovered near Beluga Lake on the west side of Cook Inlet Sunday night. The plane departed from Anchorage and was reported overdue later.
The crash is being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board.
