Police in Durham are investigating an accident in which a moped and a vehicle collided, resulting in personal injuries to the moped driver on the night of April 29 at Holloway Street and North Alston Avenue.


The moped, driven by Durham resident Tony Henderson, was attempting to turn left from a gas station onto Holloway Street when he struck a westbound vehicle driven by Durham resident Maxine Springs, according to police.


Henderson received transport to Duke Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.


No charges have been filed in the accident, which occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m.
