A driver who was allegedly involved in an October hit-and-run crash that caused a North Carolina woman personal injuries finally turned himself in to Oneonta, New York town constables.
On October 29, 45-year-old Davenport, New York resident David Fersch was charged with misdemeanor leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, according to Oneonta Town Constable Scott Harrington. He said that Fersch turned himself into the constables accompanied by his attorney.
After the crash, which took place on October 22, 50-year-old Cameron resident Donna Kramer received transport to A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital for treatment and was later released.
On the day of the crash, Kramer and her husband, 59-year-old Frederick Kramer, were stopped on the shoulder of the eastbound ramp at Exit 16 of Interstate 88 and were changing seating positions within the vehicle when it was struck by Fersch’s vehicle. Fersch then fled the scene.
