A man has filed suit after suffering personal injuries when a man who was allegedly intoxicated struck him while walking down a sidewalk.
According to the suit he filed on January 13 in Illinois’ Madison County Circuit Court, Nathan J. Porter was walking down an Alton, Illinois sidewalk on June 8 when he was struck by Kaleb D. Ball.
According to the suit, Ball, who was allegedly intoxicated, had purchased alcohol from Tony Lounge. The suit names both Ball and the bar as defendants.
Porter claims that the incident caused him to sustain personal injuries that were serious, permanent, and disabling in addition to suffering pain and incurring medical expenses.
Porter seeks damages in excess of $250,000, plus costs, from the five-count suit.
