Fayetteville police say that a man sustained personal injuries after being ejected from his vehicle in a crash on U.S. 301 near Middle Road on December 24.
According to a news release, 48-year-old Victor Jay Crisco was ejected from a 1996 Dodge Caravan taxi when it went airborne and overturned.
Crisco was heading south on U.S. 301 when he lost control of the vehicle, which came to rest in the northbound lanes, according to the release. Crisco was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. The northbound lanes had to be closed for more than an hour after the crash, according to the release.
Crisco received transport to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. A hospital spokeswoman said he was being treated in the emergency room and his medical status was unavailable.
