Man Drowns In Columbus County
The drowning of a man, whose vehicle sank in a canal, Friday night, was contributed to hypothermia.
According to Coroner Linwood Cartrette, he was not injured by the impact of the crash.
Clarence Thomas Hall, 49, of Clarendon died in the crash, after his vehicle left the road.
Hall was able to exit his 1986 Mazda pickup, but unable to get out of the canal, where he drowned.
