Hope Mills Woman Charged In Motorcyclist's Death

The North Carolina Highway Patrol says a woman from Hope Mills has been charged in an accident involving fatal personal injuries which took place on September 12 on N.C. 59.


According to a September 16 statement from Trooper S.D. Reed, 18-year-old Tabitha Lynne Boahn has been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.


Reed said that shortly before 7:30 p.m., 46-year-old Hope Mills resident Joseph Frank Bill was traveling on N.C. 59 when Boahn turned into his path, causing a collision.
