Durham, NC (July 2, 2026) – Four people were hurt on Thursday morning, July 2, when a vehicle crashed head-on into a GoDurham bus on the 1300 block of Holloway Street in Durham.

Officials said the GoDurham bus was traveling west at about 7:40 a.m. An eastbound vehicle entered the westbound lane and struck the bus.

Seven passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash. Two passengers were taken to the hospital, but their injuries were not life-threatening.

Two people were in the other vehicle. Both were also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Durham Police Department is investigating what led to the crash.
