Five Injured In Accident


An accident in Clayton resulted in five people transported to hospital.


According to the N.C. Highway Patrol, a Nissan was making a left turn off U.S. Highway 70 bypass onto N.C. Highway 42 when the driver of a SUV pilled a red light, hitting the Nissan.


The driver of the Nissan, James Rusin, 32 of Clayton, his wife and three children were transported to Wake Med for injuries sustained in the accident.


Temeila Daniel, 34, of Fuquay Varina was cited for running a stop light.
