An accident involving a tractor-trailer in which fatal personal injuries were suffered on October 31 was being investigated by police in Salisbury.

 

According to Salisbury police, a man driving a Honda Civic rear-ended a Food Lion tractor-trailer early on the morning of October 31.

 

The collision took place on Jake Alexander Boulevard, near Harrison Road, which is a short distance from the Food Lion headquarters and warehouse.

 

The road was blocked by police as they investigated and worked on clearing the scene. They said a reconstruction team had been called to the scene.

 

The names of the victim and truck driver were not immediately made available.

 

Jake Alexander Boulevard was reopened at about 10 a.m. on the day of the crash.
