Child Safety Locks Recalled
Child safety locks from Safety 1st found at popular big-box retailers like Target, Walmart and Home Depot are now being recalled. The Safety 1st recalled products include the Sure Fit Toilet Locks and Cabinet Slide Locks. Both closures have been ineffective at removing children’s access to toilets and cabinets.
Over 100 incidents were reported, which included children aged 2 and under who were able to break the toilet locks. Over 70 reports were made that included children less than a year old breaking the cabinet locks.

Model numbers 48003 and 48103.
