On July 27, a toddler in Waco, Texas required surgery for the personal injuries she suffered after being bitten in the face by a dog.
According to the 16-month-old girl’s uncle, the attack occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m.
The girl received rush transport from EMS crews to Hillcrest with injuries to her nose and lips that were not believed to be life-threatening.
The girl’s grandfather owned the 75-pound Stratford Terrier involved in the attack. Authorities have impounded the dog during the investigation.
