Wrong Way Accident Kills Marine
A Marine based at Camp Lejuene was killed in an accident Saturday in Austell, Ga.
Bruce J. Quayle, 71, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado eastbound in the westbound lane of Interstate 20, when he hit a Mitsubishi Mirage head-on.
Lance Corporal Gregory M. Suedmeyer 21, was driving the Mitsubishi.
He died at a nearby hospital.
Katelyn Sudemeyer, his wife, was a passenger in the vehicle. She was transported by helicopter to Atlanta Medical Center where she was listed in critical condition.
The accident is being investigated.
