Wreck In Cedar Creek Kills Two
A wreck last night involving a single car burned two people beyond recognition.
According to a report by the Highway Patrol, a 2004 Cadillac ran off Cedar Creek, crashed in to a concrete wall and hit two trees, before bursting into flames. The wreck occurred nine miles southeast of Fayetteville.
The Cadillac was being driven north at about 85 mph when it left the road.
The bodies were being sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Chapel Hill for identification.
The accident was investigated by Trooper Jake Katzenberger.
