Worker Killed In Wall Collapse At Raleigh Job Site
Police say a construction worker died of the personal injuries he suffered when a wall collapsed at a job site in Raleigh on September 13.
According to police, workers had built an addition to a building at Precision Tune Auto Care and were demolishing a concrete wall that separated the original structure from the addition when the wall collapsed at approximately 1:30 p.m. The worker was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is being conducted by the North Carolina department of labor, which has not released the name of the victim.
Police say no other injuries were suffered in the incident.
