Woman Severely Bitten On Face By Dog At Park
A woman suffered severe personal injuries when she was bitten on the face by a dog at McNaughton Park in Elkhart, Indiana on the evening of June 15.
Police say the 41-year-old woman was at the park with a group of people when she encountered a man who was walking a Labrador and asked if she could pet it. When she began flailing her arms, the dog bit her on the lip.
The police report says that the bite wound was severe.
The Elkhart Police Department’s animal control officer is conducting a follow-up investigation.
