A woman from Beaumont, Texas has filed a personal injury suit against a local church for the personal injuries she sustained in an automobile collision that took place more than two years ago.
On September 10, Kesha Lee filed suit against Mount Olive Baptist Church and Tramail Cane in Jefferson County, Texas District Court.
According to court papers, on September 11, 2006, Lee had stopped at a traffic light when Cane, during the course of his employment with Mount Olive Church, struck her vehicle.
The suit does not provide a description of the collision, but claims negligence on the part of Cane for his failure to keep a proper lookout and on the part of the church for entrusting him with a company vehicle.
Lee seeks damages for past and future mental anguish, disfigurement, impairment, and medical expenses.
