Woman Files Suit After Son Bitten By Dog

Laura L. Rose filed suit against a couple from Troy, Illinois alleging that her minor son sustained severe personal injuries after being bitten by a dog while on the couple’s property.

According to the suit Rose filed in Illinois’ Madison County Circuit Court on January 8, her son Regan L. Rose was visiting the home of Ty and Jamie Duncan when their dog attacked, bit, and jumped on him without provocation.

The suit claims that the child suffered permanent injuries to the face and neck, hindrance and prevention of attendance to normal duties and affairs, and lost value of his time. He also claims to have suffered great physical and mental pain and anguish and incurred substantial medical expenses.

Rose seeks damages in excess of $75,000, plus costs.
