A woman has filed a personal injury suit against a convenience store in Hurricane, West Virginia she alleges is responsible for the injuries she suffered in a visit there in 2009.
According to the suit Jackie E. Kerdsri filed on June 24 against Mid Valley Mart LLC in West Virginia’s Putnam Circuit Court, construction materials near one of the entrances to Mid Valley Mart caused her to fall and suffer injuries.
Kerdsri says she went to Mid Valley Mart in Hurricane on July 16, 2009. She says as she exited through a side door because of construction at or near another doorway. Upon exiting, she “tripped and fell into a pile of concrete and other rubble from the construction zone,” causing a fracture in her left foot.
Kerdsri is seeking unspecified damages plus costs of suit.
