Woman Files Suit After Fall In Casino Bathroom
A woman has filed suit against a casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey and the tour group that took her there after she suffered a fall in the casino’s bathroom.
According to the suit Kaye Townsend filed on May 22 in West Virginia’s Kanawha Circuit Court against Casino Connections LLC and Adamar of New Jersey, doing business as Tropicana Casino and Resort, she went on a trip to the Tropicana coordinated by Casino Connections on May 26, 2007.
Townsend alleges that as she was at the casino, she fell in the bathroom, which she claims to have been in “obvious need of repair.”
According to Townsend, the fall caused her to break her left ankle and injure her knee, injuries she claims are permanent.
The suit alleges negligence on the part of the defendants for failure to provide a safe and secure environment for patrons.
Townsend seeks compensatory damages.Post a comment
