Woman Files Suit After Dog Attack While Biking
A personal injury suit has been filed by Illinois resident Jane Schneider claiming that she sustained serious injuries when the dog of Michael Aleman attacked her.
According to the suit, which was filed in St. Clair County, Illinois Circuit Court on November 12, Schneider was riding her bicycle in Belleville, Illinois on October 4 when Aleman’s dog attacked her.
The suit claims that, due to her injuries, Schneider suffered pain, permanent disability, and disfigurement in addition to incurring medical expenses. She claims Aleman is liable under the Animal Control Act and seeks damages in excess of $50,000.
