Woman Claims Other Driver In Crash Ran Stop Sign
A woman has filed a personal injury suit, alleging that she sustained injuries when another driver failed to obey a stop sign and collided with her vehicle.
On November 15, Milissa Bell filed suit against Katrina Slayton in Illinois’ Madison County Circuit Court, alleging that Slayton was negligent and should pay her medical costs.
Bell said she was heading east and Slayton was heading north. Slayton allegedly ran a stop sign at an intersection, causing the two to collide.
Bell says she had the right-of-way because there was no stop sign for eastbound traffic at the intersection.
Bell seeks damages in excess of $50,000.
