A woman has filed a personal injury suit claiming that she suffered serious injuries when a man “violently collided with her vehicle.”
According to the suit filed by Kristina L. Morgan in Illinois’ St. Clair County Circuit Court on March 16, she had stopped her 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier at the edge of the parking lot at a Wal-Mart store when the 200 Ford 150 driven by Michael J. Borkowski collided with her vehicle from behind.
Morgan claims to have experienced injury, physical pain, mental anguish, and a loss of ability to attend to her usual duties and affairs. She also claims to have incurred medical costs.
The suit alleges negligence on the part of Borkowski for failure to properly maintain control of his vehicle, driving too fast, failure to maintain a proper lookout, and failure to brake in order to avoid a collision.
Morgan seeks damages in excess of $50,000.
