A woman has filed a personal injury suit on the behalf of her minor daughter, alleging that she sustained serious injuries after she was struck by a vehicle while riding her bike.
According to the suit filed by Lisa Krell in Illinois’ St. Clair County Circuit Court on March 17, her 11-year-old daughter Page Duck was riding her bike on July 14, 2007 when she was struck by the vehicle of Jason Aissie.
Krell claims that the collision caused her daughter to suffer injuries to her left lower extremity and left upper extremity and experienced great physical pain, mental anguish, and impairment.
Krell claims that she and her daughter incurred medical costs exceeding $50,000.
The suit alleges negligence on the part of Aissie for driving too fast, failure to maintain a proper lookout, and failure to warn.
Krell seeks damages in excess of $50,000 and compensation for medical expenses from the two-count suit.
