Woman Bitten By Dog Near Historic Charlotte Bed And Breakfast
A woman sustained personal injuries when she was bitten by a pit bull near a historic bed and breakfast in east Charlotte on the morning of February 21.
The incident took place around 9 a.m. at N.S. Alexander Homestead, a bed and breakfast located on the corner of North Sharon Amity and Shamrock Drive.
Medic said the woman sustained injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening and underwent treatment at the scene.
According to officials, the dog got loose by slipping out from underneath a fence. The woman was walking on the sidewalk next to the 108-year-old house when she was attacked.
