Woman Arrested For Store Robbery That Led To Dog Bite

A 29-year-old woman from Dallas, Texas has been arrested after a Bellmead, Texas incident in which a Wal-Mart employee sustained personal injuries after a dog in the woman’s vehicle was ordered to bite the employee on the buttocks after the woman was accused by the employee of stealing a DVD recorder from the store.

According to authorities, Jennifer Ann Logan was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and taken to the McLennan County, Texas Jail.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit filed by Bellmead police Detective Louisa Nunez, on June 23, Logan took a DVD recorder worth $298 from Wal-Mart and exited the store through the garden section.

An employee followed Logan to her maroon Ford escape and grabbed her in order to keep her from fleeing. According to the affidavit, an unidentified man sitting in the vehicle told a dog to attack the employee. The dog then jumped out of the Escape and bit the employee on the buttocks and leg.

Logan, the man in the SUV, and the dog then fled the scene with the DVD recorder, but Logan was later identified by the employee in a police lineup.
