Wilson Man Killed In I-95 Crash
A man from Wilson suffered fatal personal injuries in an accident on Interstate 95 near Rocky Mount on August 18.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol says 29-year-old David Lloyd was northbound near the county line of Nash County and Wilson County when the green Ford Explorer he was driving ran off the road near mile marker 126 shortly before noon. He then overcorrected and the SUV overturned, coming to rest on its roof. He was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers say Lloyd was the lone occupant of his vehicle and his was the only vehicle involved.
