Wilmington Woman Killed In Crash
A woman in Wilmington died of the personal injuries she suffered on September 26 when her vehicle was struck while sitting in the center lane of Oleander Drive.
Police say a 2001 Dodge Neon driven by 57-year-old Carol L. Annette was sitting in the center turn lane when a westbound 1994 Ford Explorer struck her car on the passenger side.
Annette was the only occupant of the Neon. She received transport to New Hanover Regional Medical Center, where she later died.
A man and woman in the Explorer received treatment for injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
