Willard Couple Killed In Accident
Joey Kea, 48, of Willard and his wife Ammie, 52, were killed while riding a 2003 Honda motorcycle near Wallace on Friday.
According to the N.C. Highway Patrol, Roberto Ortuno Cruz, 41, of Roseboro was charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and failing to yield the right of way. Cruz was driving a 2002 GMC pickup.
Both Mr. & Mrs. Kea were wearing helmets.
There were passengers in the pickup with Cruz.
