Fayetteville police said on April 25 that two teenagers involved in a traffic accident on the afternoon of April 24 had died of the personal injuries they suffered.

A news release said that no charges had been filed in the deaths of 18-year-old Aberdeen resident Kaleb Valliant and 18-year-old Raeford resident Thadius Markle.

On the day of the accident, the teenagers were the occupants of a 1995 Isuzu that ran a stop sign on Camden Road prior to a collision with a 1996 Lincoln.

Valliant was the driver of the Isuzu. The identity of the Lincoln’s driver was not released.

The crash remains under investigation.
