Two Killed In Crash In Alamance County

Two people suffered fatal personal injuries in a two-vehicle collision on the morning of February 9 on Interstate 40/85 in eastern Alamance County.

 

According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, a Honda Civic occupied by four people was traveling west on I-40/85 and stopped on the highway. The disabled vehicle was struck from behind by a Ford Explorer shortly before 8 a.m.

 

No immediate word on the identities of the victims or the conditions of the survivors was available.

 

The NCHP said the crash took place in the second of four lanes near Exit 153.
