Two consumers of the turkey sausage with cheddar cheese, which was packaged by Johnsonville Sausage, have filed complaints.

NC injury attorneys in Raleigh, Fayetteville and Dunn with Brent Adams & Associates have provided the packaging information to share with your friends and family:

Look for EST. P-34224 code inside the USDA inspection insignia. The best buy date is August 20, 2012.

Food Injury in NC

Almost 50,000 pounds of the “Turkey Sausage with Cheddar Cheese” was included in the recall. Consumers may have purchased the recalled turkey sausage from May through August. If you or someone you know has experienced a food injury in NC from stray pieces of gloves found in this turkey sausage, they are entitled to compensation for their injuries. Medical treatment expenses, compensation for time away from work, and pain and suffering from the negligent manufacturer’s defective food product are compensable.

Food-Related Injuries

The contaminated food recall brings attention to many food-related injuries, like choking, allergies, and unsanitary packing conditions that breed Listeria, salmonella and other food-borne illnesses. Any time you suspect you’re the victim of a food injury or illness, whether due to a negligent manufacturer or a restaurant that served food prepared in an unclean kitchen, contact a North Carolina injury lawyer with experience successfully representing victims of food poisoning. You shouldn’t have to suffer because of someone else’s carelessness.
